Why are large portions of my heatmap blank?

Two causes for this are:

1. Page transition effects where your theme initially displays a white screen that fades to reveal your site after the page is fully loaded.
2. "Visible on scroll" sections that aren't revealed until the visitor scrolls to them

Propel's heatmap feature takes a screenshot of your page shortly after page load. Because the page, or certain sections, aren't visible when the snapshot is taken, they appear blank in the heatmap.

We're aware of this issue and will be releasing an update mid-August 2025 that should resolve this.
