Why don't the analytics match those provided by Shopify, Google Analytics, etc?
There are a few reasons why Propel Replay's analytics won't match those provided by other services:
- Propel Replays does extensive filtering to try to remove bot traffic.
- In order to not affect pagespeed score, Propel Replays is one of the last things to load on the page and so actions taken in the first few seconds of each page visit may not be recorded.
- Older browsers and privacy protection add-ons may prevent Propel Replays from running.

These reasons mean that the analytics in Propel Replays will deviate from those provided by other sources.
The analytics in Propel Replays is meant to complement the replays and does not replace data provided by dedicated analytics tools like Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, etc.
